“This is one of the most enjoyable works of fiction I’ve ever read.
“I won’t spoil the plot, but it involves an emerging technology that has the potential to effectively SOLVE one of the most divisive political issues of our time. It’s a relatively unknown technology with ramifications for the entire political status quo, and this book is a wonderfully entertaining awareness-raising vehicle.
“Kudos, Ben! Thanks for helping nudge this important issue onto the center stage, and for crafting such an engaging story around it.”
—Matt Deaton, PhD, adjunct philosophy professor at The University of Texas at Tyler, and author of Abortion Ethics in a Nutshell: A Pro-Both Tour of the Moral Arguments
“Every so often a work of fiction speaks uniquely to the heart of a divisive societal issue. Such is the case with The 3rd Option, authored by Ben A. Sharpton. This fast-moving novel offers a surprising paradigm shift from the usual ‘pro-life, pro-choice’ dichotomy within a storyline of an underlying violence, greed, and deceit.
“This is an excellent read offering valuable and relevant insight.”
—Dr. Bob Ayres, Anglican priest, consultant, and author of DEAFCHURCH 21: Vision for a New Generation
“This is the kind of rare thriller that I love—one that grabs you on page one and won’t let you go until the satisfying conclusion. The 3rd Option is smart and fresh, combining timely issues with thoughtful insights, relatable characters, and shocking twists. It makes you think while it makes your heart race.”
—Peter Wallace, author of A Generous Beckoning and host emeritus of Day1
