Meet the Author
Carolyn Brodeur is originally from Massachusetts and moved to Virginia in 2005. She is married to a wonderful husband and has one son. In college, she studied English and writing. Her dream was to one day become a fiction author. She enjoyed reading sci-fi, paranormal, and mystery book series growing up, but she never found her preferred genre to write until she discovered cozy mysteries and started working for a homeowners association. The unique dynamic of a small HOA community that exists in its own micro-verse became the perfect setting for Carolyn’s cozy mystery book. Her works are entirely fictional, but working for an HOA has given Carolyn plenty of inspiration. At times, real life even outpaces her stories; she can frequently be heard saying, “I can’t make this stuff up.”
