“Building upon his previous publications, Harrison again humorously employs presidential punchline Millard Fillmore to guide readers through the feats and follies of our nation’s chief executives. His style deftly demonstrates the more memorable personality traits of the presidents and emphasizes why both they and their actions should be studied by our nation’s youth as an introduction to history. Sometimes for better and sometimes for worse, these leaders helped shape the world we live in.”
—Kurt Deion, White House Historical Association Next-Gen Leader, and author of Presidential Grave Hunter: One Kid’s Quest to Visit the Tombs of Every President and Vice President
“Wag Harrison does it again with his insightful stories of men who hold such high esteem in our society, but about whom so many of us know so little. Talking with the ghosts of presidents past, Harrison educates his readers using humor, relationships, and historical context. He paints a picture of these figures to include their accomplishments and their flaws, so the reader can relate to these complex men of history.”
—Jessica Arnold, middle school social studies teacher and avid history nerd
