Meet the Author
Ginger Johnston Philbrick is the owner of Because You Are Polite, a business teaching manners for life enrichment in social, academic, and professional arenas. She is the author of the Because You Are Polite series of children’s books, as well as Because You Are Polite: Exercises in Being Someone Others Like to Be With, for teachers and students from pre-K to second grade, and Ball Caps, Networking and the Opposite Sex, a book of manners tips for young teens. She has been a columnist, lecturer, and instructor in etiquette since 1993. Her belief is that instruction in manners should be approached with reason, sincerity, and a generous dose of humor! Ms. Philbrick currently resides in White Stone, Virginia, with her husband and their proper cat, Lilly Pearl, enjoying visits with grandchildren.
